The Leaf Consulting team is comprised of Caren Leaf and Beckah Terlouw. Caren and Beckah each bring their unique strengths to the individuals, teams and leaders they work with. Caren’s extensive experience as an executive coach and mentor brings over 20 years of working with leaders and teams in both the public and private arenas. Her strategic approach and desire to build meaningful relationships assures an individualized process with each client. Beckah is also a Gallup certified coach. Her expertise in curriculum design and the use of technology add quality and sophistication to our workshops, as well as the facilitatation of our individual and small team coaching . Together they form a very powerful partnership.

Leaf Consulting was founded by Caren Leaf in 2016, to partner with individuals, businesses and teams looking to energize and engage themselves. Together Caren and her clients discover their strengths as a tool focusing on what is right with people rather than what is wrong. This is a philosophy that rang true for Caren over her 25 years as a leader, decision maker, mentor and developer. By exploring her own strengths and taking the time to know the strengths of her partners, teammates and community members she saw magic happen. Her strategic approach and desire to build meaningful relationships assures an individualized process with each client. Caren has been honored to work with several Executive’s and their teams both in the public and private sector. This includes her work with the Governor of Colorado and his senior team. Caren has also worked with national and international Boards of Directors. Equally important to her is coaching individuals. Through conversation, Caren supports her client in finding out about themselves and aiming who they are. Together they increase what is working and address what is hindering success. That success might be in building relationships, getting things done, thinking well and/or influencing outcome. Each client’s uniqueness guides the way. Caren’s training in Change Management through Procsi offer additional strategies when developing individualized client maps.

Beckah Terlouw is passionate about cultivating collaborative and individual leadership within diverse teams. She has partnered with Leaf Consulting on strengths projects since 2016. Beckah is instrumental in developing high quality and interactive team experiences for Leaf Consulting's workshops and useful and targeted coaching materials. Her expertise in curriculum design supports Leaf Consulting's individualized products. Beckah works with organizations and communities seeking innovative and practical solutions that increase performance and engagement development. She consults nationwide, both virtually and in-person since 2009.
Prior to forming Invisible Strategy, Beckah spent 15 years in the nonprofit sector developing innovative and sustainable education programs. She’s a two-term AmeriCorps Alum. Originally from Michigan, Beckah has lived in Colorado since 2009. She is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, CSC-Certified DEI Facilitator, and holds an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Grand Valley State University.
